“ This restaurant is a hidden gem! I'm so happy we got to try it out with my parents! Welcoming staff as well as clean and the sense of home. The chicken fried steak was delicious! I thoroughly enjoyed my meal! For dessert I had the butter pecan cake, it was amazing! Others at our table loved their meals to, which includes the mixed gumbo, beef tips, and chicken strips! We cannot wait to go back, totally worth the short drive! ”

I had the regular chicken and sausage gumbo, It had excellent flavor and was a generous portion! I also had boudin balls, which were also very good. Our group consisted of former coworkers who had not been all together in years. We had a lot of catching up to do and were able to do so without feeling pressured to leave.
